BrewDog, the Fraserburgh, Scotland-based brewery, has announced its plans to open a US production facility and broaden its bar network.
The company revealed that it is assessing possible sites in Columbus, Ohio for its new brewery, which will mark its first move brewing permanently outside of Scotland.
BrewDog said it expects to update on its stateside progress in the coming months but closer to home, the company is continue its aggressive expansion strategy with plans to open 10 new bars and the second of its BottleDog bottleshop concepts.
The business has confirmed it expects to open new UK sites in Soho, Angel, Brighton, Glasgow, as well as second sites in Leeds and Edinburgh. These follow the opening of its Leicester site, the company’s 20th UK bar opening to date.
In addition, BrewDog plans to open bars in Rome, Brussels, Berlin, Oslo, as well as a BottleDog branch in Edinburgh.
The company is also on the lookout for suitable sites in Lincoln, Norwich, Hull, Portsmouth, Reading and Canterbury, among others.
