New seam analysis product line launched

A new “cutting-edge” seam analysis product line, designed to meet the quality and budgetary needs of craft beverage producers has been launched.

Manufactured by Innovus Engineering, the comprehensive system includes a lightweight beverage seam saw, a seam inspection camera, SeamVision software, a seam thickness gauge, and a countersink depth gauge.

Recognising the lack of affordable, high-quality seam inspection options for smaller beverage producers, Innovus Engineering has stepped in to provide a solution. The new product line delivers exceptional performance and functionality at a price point accessible to craft beverage producers without compromising on quality.

“Our goal was to empower smaller beverage producers with tools that rival those of large-scale manufacturers” said Michael McClue, Commercial Director at Innovus Engineering.

The Seam Analysis product line represents a significant advancement in seam inspection technology. Seam Saw Excellence: Innovus Engineering conducted extensive trials to perfect the seam saw’s torque, blade thickness, and tooth configuration, ensuring a flawless cut critical for accurate camera inspection.

User-Friendly SeamVision Software: The SeamVision software package offers a clean, intuitive interface, and users can generate A4 PDF reports with statistical analysis, track trends, and sort data by product. A web-based system offers easy access from anywhere and any device.

Co-Packer Compatibility: Tailored for breweries offering contract canning services, the SeamVision system allows users to assign records to specific clients, ensuring seamless record management for co-packers.

“From the outset, we were determined to develop software that simplifies the inspection process for craft beverage producers,” McClue added.

“SeamVision’s intuitive design and extensive features set it apart in the industry. It’s a game-changer, particularly for co-packers managing multiple client records.”

In addition to the new product line, Innovus Engineering is launching a comprehensive double seam training program. This initiative builds on years of experience in delivering seam training to canning line customers, emphasising the importance of seam quality in the craft beverage industry.

“The global craft beverage market continues to grow, and with it, the demand for reliable and affordable seam inspection tools,” McClue noted.

“Our new training program and products ensure producers of all sizes can maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.”
