BrewDog launches Stone Brewing Co-inspired ‘Born To Die’ IPA

BrewDog has launched ‘Born To Die’, an IPA that carries an explicit best before date inspired by California’s Stone Brewing Co’s ‘Enjoy By…’ series of beers.

The 8.5% IPA is available in 660ml bombers and is brewed with Amarillo, Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra hops as well as Extra Pale, Pale and Marris Otter malts.

Carrying an IBU of 100, BrewDog has called ‘Born To Die’ a “ticking hoppy time bomb” that gives the drinker 35 days to enjoy the beer between the drink being packaged and the date printed on label elapsing.

“Our Born To Die takes a huge amount of influence from the brilliant Stone ‘Enjoy By…’ series. It is with the support of Stone that we have put this together and our good friend Greg Koch at Stone was happy for us to be inspired by their concept and to put our own BrewDog spin on it,” the company added.
