Barsham Brewery, a family-owned brewery based on the West Barsham Estate in North Norfolk, is delighted to announce its expansion plans to accommodate the surging demand for its award-winning range of beers now fully operational.
Despite industry-wide challenges, Barsham Brewery’s commitment to quality and innovation has propelled the brewery’s popularity, prompting the need for increased production capacity.
The expansion project has involved increasing the brewing capacity and adding a delivery vehicle to meet growing demand while maintaining its commitment to the ‘grain to glass’ ethos.
The brewery has invested in new equipment and facilities to enhance production efficiency without compromising the artisanal quality that defines their brews.
“We are thrilled to announce this exciting phase in the evolution of Barsham Brewery. The response to our beers from the Norfolk community and across East Anglia has fuelled our ambition to expand and continue delivering exceptional craft beers to local pubs around our region,” said Tom Trivedi, Managing Director at Barsham Brewery. “Our relationship with both independent pubs and pub groups, such as Chestnut Inns, has meant that expansion was needed to meet increasing demand.”
The expansion follows a series of award recognition for the Brewery. Two of the Barsham Brewery beers received accolades at the Society of Independent Brewers East Region Competition, with the Golden Close IPA winning Gold and Silver for Norfolk Topper. This follows being named as a finalist for the Eastern Daily Press Food and Drink Awards in the Field to Fork category. In the summer, Norwich CAMRA awarded the Oaks Session Bitter the title of 2023 Norfolk Session Bitter of the Year.
As part of the expansion celebration, Barsham Brewery plans to introduce new and exciting beer varieties, building on its tradition and creativity. April 2024 will also see the return of the Street Food Friday events based at the Brewery.
