Beavertown Brewery has announced the launch of its brand-new pale ale, Young Sun, which will preview first at Young’s pubs across London and the South of England.
Available from Friday 1st April, Young Sun will launch for an exclusive eight-week run with at Young’s before being available in pubs across the country.
A 4% ABV pale ale, Young Sun is light and bright, perfect for summertime drinking. Brewed with Beavertown’s house yeast, the sweeter malt characteristics are allowed to shine through, and three hops – Simcoe, Citra, and Idaho 7 – are then added to create a hoppy, sweet, tropical flavour with notes of berry and citrus.
This is one for fans of Neck Oil, who will enjoy its added body and depth while still being light and refreshing. Plus, it’s vegan, so suitable for all to enjoy.
With pubs stocking the new ale including Wandsworth pubs The Ship & The Spread Eagle, Young Sun will be available at the bar across Young’s pubs from April. With locations in London and the South of England, including historic pubs and some of the finest outdoor gardens, head down to your local Young’s pub to be one of the first to try the new pale ale.
Logan Plant, Founder of Beavertown Brewery, commented, “We’re very excited to be launching Young Sun exclusively into Young’s pubs for an eight-week run before making it more widely available across the country.
Ahead of summer 2022, we wanted to bring a new pale ale to drinkers which is ideal for sipping in beer gardens and the bright, light, fruity Young Sun does exactly that. Similar to our much-loved IPA Neck Oil, but even more fresh and accessible, we can’t wait for Beavertown fans and newcomers alike to enjoy it as much as we do.”
Gillian McLaren, Director of Marketing at Young’s comments: “Young Sun is an exciting new pale ale from Beavertown and the ideal summer sip. We’re delighted to be the first to offer this session brew exclusively at our pubs and look forward to welcoming our guests to the bar for their first pint of Young Sun.”
