Brewers Choice Awards 2022: The Winners

Lost and Grounded Brewers, Derek Prentice, Lakes Brew Co, Lara Lopes, Moonwake, Rudi Ghequire, North Brewing, Abbeydale Brewery and Colin Stronge were the winners of the 2022 Brewers Choice Awards.

More than 300 figures from the brewing industry descended upon The Business Design Centre in Islington, London last week to help celebrate and recognise the very best in beer.

The evening kicked off with guests settled down for dinner where there was a wealth of great beer on offer from Athletic Brewing, Burning Sky, Mondo, Field Recordings, Rodenbach, Thirst Class Ale, Wimbledon Brewery, Lost and Grounded Brewers and Powderkeg.

And before guests danced away to live music from The Colts, we recognised New Brewery of the Year, New Beer of the Year, Best Branding, Beer of the Year, Brewer of the Year, Brewery of the Year, Young Brewer of the Year, Global Ambassador Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tim Sheahan, editor of The Brewers Journal, commented: “There is no escaping that it has been a tough and challenging 12 months for the brewing industry. So with that in mind, it was a genuine privilege to be able to celebrate the very best in brewing. The standard of entries was incredibly high and everyone that was shortlisted and won should be suitably proud.
