BrewLDN 2021 announce new July dates

Brew//LDN has announced new July dates for its return this summer.

Following Boris Johnson’s roadmap announcement the festival will now run later in the year from Thursday 29th July to Saturday 31st July.

The improved and expanded festival will take over London’s iconic Printworks with 250 exhibitor stands, 150 independent breweries, a vast outdoor street food arena and more than 1000 different beers.

Toby Chantrell, BrewLDN co-founder, explained: “As it stands, the government aims to introduce controlled indoor events from 17th May: ‘Events of up to 1,000 people or 50% of a venue’s capacity, whichever is lower, will be permitted.’

“Given the capacity of Brew//LDN exceeds 1,000 people, we’re in the unfortunate position of having to postpone to a date post 21st June, when the government aims to introduce ‘no legal limits on social contact’.

“For the overall event experience, we always wanted to stage Brew//LDN 2021 with the full social experience, including hugging, kissing, live music, dancing and meeting new people and this date change allows for that possibility.

Rest assured we’ll continue to keep an eye on developments and will maintain the ability to implement any safety measures required.”

Brew//LDN 2021 will make use of Printworks’ vast Press Halls space as well as the indoor and outdoor Container Yard areas packed with beers, bites, brew talks and more.

The three day event includes four public sessions and two trade sessions with the 250 exhibitor stands showcasing 150 independent breweries and 1000 different beers; there will be capacity for over 10,000 attendees across the three days.

Brewery additions include Signature, Harbour, Innis & Gunn, ABYSS, Yonder Brewing and Blending, Glen Affric and Cassels who join Five Points, Tiny Rebel, Brewpoint, Toast, Black Storm, Don Valley Brewery, Flowerhorn, Vocation, Trinity Brew Co., Full Circle, Firebrand, Laine Brew Co. Heist Brew Co, UnBarred Brewery, Hofmeister Brewing Company, Phantom Brewing Co., Mad Squirrel, SXOLLIE Cider and Pulpt Cider amongst others.

New for 2021, Brew//LDN will have a huge outdoor food arena for the first time offering a wealth of street food traders plus an outdoor beer terrace for (hopefully!) sunshine drinking this July.

Previous years’ food treats have included La Nonna, Brigadiers, Claw, Biff’s Jack Shack, Kolkati and Eat Chay so expect more of the UK’s finest food traders for this edition. The full DJ lineup will be revealed in April but for now Demi Riquisimo, RAW SILK and Bill Brewster will be laying down the vibes.
