Electric Bear is marking the Easter period with the launch of three new beers.

The Bath-based brewery is releasing beers showcasing flavours of chocolate, caramel, Black Forest gateau and chilli from this week onwards.

Ian Morris, head brewer at Electric Bear said “We’re all going to be celebrating Easter at home this year and we wanted to craft a beer that paid tribute to the chocolate-fuelled period.

“The trio of beers all have tasting notes of chocolate  – they’re an indulgent treat for the adults to enjoy”.

Mokoko Chocolata is a 5.2% stout featuring chocolate, caramel and Coffee. A

A local collaboration between Electric Bear and Bath-based café and roastery, Mokoko, this limited edition craft beer blends a Brazilian Vargem Grande to accentuate the chocolate and caramel flavours in the beer.  Topped off with a light dose of vanilla pods to help bring out a delicate sweetness.

Never Mind The Buzzwords is a Black Forest Gateau Sour. At 5.5%, it boasts all of the flavours of a Black Forest Gateau in a sour.

Packed full of cherries and with a subtle hint of chocolate this beer has all the sweetness of the classic dessert but with a sour finish.

Finally, I Can’t Believe It’s Next Tuesday is Chilli Chocolate Stout.

The 8% beer features a combination of rich and roasty sweet chocolate with a contrast of spicy chilli heat. 

Heavily dosed with cocoa nibs and finished off with four different types of chillies for a subtle but warming kick.
