Mondo to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025 with new beer

London-based Mondo is releasing a limited edition charity beer, Drama Queen, in celebration of International Women’s Day 2025.

Drama Queen is a 4.7% New England Pale Ale made by the women of Mondo Brewing.  It features notes of citrus, berry, and tropical flavours over an easy-drinking, soft body.

Brewed with the 8th annual hop blend from The Pink Boots Society—an organisation that supports women’s education in the beer industry—this beer is both a celebration of women in brewing and a tribute to the spirit of International Women’s Day.

50% of the profits from Drama Queen will go to Women & Theatre, a charity dedicated to using performance to address contemporary issues since 1983.

As part of the promotion of Drama Queen, Mondo will be championing women working at selected stockist venues where the beer will be available, by running a social media campaign to highlight and celebrate these women, their contributions, and their impact in the industry.  You can follow along on Instagram at @mondobrewing to support and engage with the campaign.

Megan Swinn, head of sales at Mondo, spoke with the Women On Tap group about this project in an interview, which you can find here.

Mondo will be hosting a beer launch party to celebrate the beer’s release, and we’d love for you to join us.  Below are the event details:
