Porterhouse Brew Co launch Chocolate Truffle Stout

Porterhouse Brew Co has launched its Chocolate Truffle Stout, with the beer available online for the first time.

The Dublin-based brewery said Chocolate Truffle Stout is smooth tasting and creamy with a distinctive chocolate aroma.

The sumptuous stout has hints of vanilla, caramel and dark fruit with high cocoa chocolate added to the brew along with chocolate essence, packing this decadent drink full of flavour, they added.

Porterhouse Brew Co. Marketing Manager, Doug Leddin said “Easter presents the perfect time to launch this decadent stout for consumers to enjoy at home.

“It’s the perfect gift for the stout, and chocolate, lover in your life who deserves more than a hollow egg!  Enjoy chilled with an extra side of chocolate, or on its own – it’s the perfect brew.”

Founded in 1996 by Oliver Hughes & Liam Lahart, the Porterhouse Brew Co. are renowned for being pioneers of craft beer in Ireland.

The two cousins Liam & Oliver were ahead of their time in opening Ireland’s first brew pub in the heart of Dublin City, Temple Bar.

Since then, 22 years on with a group of successful bars in Dublin, London & New York the Porterhouse Brew Co. is now producing from a state-of-the-art brewery located on the outskirts of Dublin City in Dublin 11.

The expansion to the 30,000 hectolitre brewing facility in 2017 not only helps service the Porterhouse bars but provides quality beer outside of the bars to consumers throughout Ireland, while exporting to over 20 markets globally.

The Porterhouse Brew Co. is proud to be a fully run independent Irish craft brewery with a focus on consistency, quality and innovation.
