Comedian Ricky Gervais has had many a beer throughout the world but he rates Vancouver’s ‘Gypsies Tears’, brewed by Parallel 49, as the best he’s ever tasted.

Some impressed was the brewery by this unsolicited endorsement that they changed the name of Gypsies Tears to Ricky Tears, according to 604 Now.

 A Twitter follower started this when they asked Gervais what his favourite brand of beer was. He praised Vancouver’s Parallel 49.

“I remember thinking ‘Gypsies Tears’ in Vancouver was the best beer I’d ever tasted,” he replied.
