Tapping into Square Root’s love of seasonal fruits, and Cloudwater Soda’s knowledge of hops, these two leading craft soda brands have come together to collaborate on a single-batch Grapefruit Hopped Iced Tea.

Produced and packaged at Square Root’s East London Soda Works, this limited edition soda is available to purchase this week via Square Root and Cloudwater’s online stores. 

After swapping ideas online, Cloudwater Soda popped over to their brewery and pinched some fresh Simcoe & Amarillo hops to send down to Square Root in London. Square Root then processed the hops to create a tasty syrup, adding the zest from delicious Sicilian Pink Grapefruits, and rich green tea from Good and Proper.

The result is a pithy and juicy bottle of pop with subtle herbaceous notes that’s a perfect January work-from-home pick me up. Best enjoyed with your eyes shut and pretending you’re on a beach some place far, far away!

The soil found there creates the perfect, fertile growing conditions for juicy and sweet citrus fruits, which we import by the tonne (literally) to be zested and juiced here in East London”
